Our Writers

Zachary Sadler

Zachary Sadler

Originally from the city of Dallas, Zack moved abroad at the age of sixteen and has since then spent extensive periods of time living and studying in Thailand, France, and Spain. He is a soon to be Master's student in the field of International Relations and is no stranger to the magic of food and the event it brings. As an avid writer, a culinary traveler, and someone passionate about finding bridges between cultures, Zack hopes to capture in his writing what he has come to understand as the strongest bridge of them all: Food!

Camila Wanderley

Camila Wanderley

Founder of The Chubby Nomad and a truly hungry little woman in search for the best bite on every corner of the world. Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, I've moved away from home at the age of 16 and have been chasing carbs since then. I have a degree in writing and food anthropology and lots of experience on writing about travel, food, and the wonderful combination of both.

Hannah Mawla

Hannah Mawla

I've studied History at Nottingham Trent University and I have a masters in Documentary Journalism. I love editing, writing about different topics and creating podcasts. Since my studies I have travelled and lived in Thailand for almost 2 years teaching English. My love for food and travel has been there since I was a kid because I have moved around from Saudi Arabia to Egypt and then to the UK, so I have a lot of experience with culture change and shock.

Satarupa M.Datta

Satarupa M.Datta

I am a travel writer and have worked extensively on television channels. I have dashed down scripts for travel shows for a long time until I decided to interpret the world through my own travel stories rather than being a cog in the wheel of someone else’s vision. Hence, freelance writing happened.
I write features, round-up articles, travel guides for tourism boards, travel publications, and award-winning travel & tours. These days I write deep-dive travel features on journeys that helped to discover a new me. On days I am not working, I unwind, put on my travel shoes and meander through the wilderness, the by-lanes of a city, or hit the open roads in search of stories. You can find those stories at https://travelhandmade.wordpress.com/
